Email Address

Choose the domain and mailbox name.

If your cPanel account hosts more than one domain, choose the correct domain from the Domain menu.

Enter the first part of the email address in the Username field. For example, enter sales to create sales@yourdomain.com.au.

Check the domain before creating the mailbox.

If more than one domain is hosted in the same cPanel account, make sure you have selected the domain that should appear after the @ symbol.

Password

Set a strong mailbox password.

In the Password section, choose Set password now and enter a strong password for the new mailbox.

You can also use cPanel's password generator to create a strong password automatically.

This password belongs to the email account.

The person using the mailbox will need this password for Webmail and for email applications such as Outlook, Apple Mail or a phone.

Optional Settings

Set the mailbox storage limit if required.

Under Optional Settings, you may be able to set a storage quota for the mailbox.

Use a specific limit if you want to control how much disk space the mailbox can use, or leave the default / unlimited setting where appropriate for your hosting plan.

Under Manual Settings, cPanel shows the exact incoming and outgoing server names, IMAP or POP ports, SMTP port, username and SSL/TLS settings for that mailbox. Keep this page open while setting up your email app.

Test the Mailbox

Open Webmail and send a test email.

From cPanel → Email Accounts, find the new address and click Check Email, or open https://yourdomain.com.au/webmail.
