JetBackup Restore OverviewEmail Accounts
Open the Email Accounts backup area.
Select Email Accounts and find the mailbox you want to recover.
Make sure you select the correct full email address if several mailboxes are hosted in the same cPanel account.
Backup Date
Select an earlier backup.
Use Choose Other Backup to select a snapshot from before the messages or mailbox data were lost.
A restore uses data from the selected backup point. If the mailbox has important newer mail, stop and contact Hostmate if you are unsure how the restore may affect it.
Restore
Restore the selected email account.
Choose Restore, review the mailbox and backup date, then confirm the restore request.
JetBackup adds the job to its restore queue. Wait until it completes before checking the mailbox.
Download Option
Download first when you do not want to change the live mailbox yet.
JetBackup can also prepare a downloadable copy of the selected email backup. This is useful when you want to keep or inspect an older copy before deciding whether to restore it.
After Restore
Check the mailbox in Webmail.
Open Webmail and check that the required folders and messages are present. You can use cPanel → Email Accounts → Check Email or open https://yourdomain.com.au/webmail.
