Open your hosting service in the Hostmate Client Area.
Log in to the Hostmate Client Area and open the hosting service that contains the WordPress website.
Open Client AreaWordPress / Softaculous
Use the WordPress link on the service overview page.
On the hosting service overview page, find the WordPress option with the WordPress logo and open it.
This takes you into Softaculous and shows the WordPress installations detected for that cPanel account.
The Hostmate service overview link opens the Softaculous WordPress installation list for the correct hosting account.
Choose Your Website
Find the WordPress installation you want to manage.
Softaculous lists the WordPress installations it knows about on the cPanel account. Find the domain or installation you want to access.
If the account hosts several WordPress websites, check the domain and installation path before clicking the login link.
Auto Login
Click the WordPress login link.
Use the Login link or login icon shown for that WordPress installation.
Softaculous will open the WordPress administration dashboard without requiring you to type the WordPress administrator username and password.
The auto-login session gives administrative access to the selected WordPress website.
Via cPanel
You can also reach the same installation list through cPanel.
Log in to cPanel and open Softaculous Apps Installer.
Open WordPress, then open the list of existing installations. Find the required WordPress site and use its Login link or login icon.
How to Log in to cPanelSite Not Listed?
Use the Softaculous Scan button.
If a WordPress website is working on the account but does not appear in the Softaculous installations list, click Scan.
Softaculous will scan the cPanel account for existing WordPress installations and add any installations it finds to the list so you can manage them and use the auto-login option.
If the website already exists, use Scan to detect it. Installing WordPress again over the existing site can overwrite or damage the website.
Normal WordPress Login
You can still log in directly when needed.
Softaculous auto login is a convenience. Your normal WordPress administrator login still exists and can be used directly through the website's WordPress login page.
If you have forgotten the WordPress administrator password, Softaculous management tools may also provide options to manage the installation, or Hostmate support can help you identify the safest recovery method.
