JetBackup Restore OverviewChoose Database
Open the Databases backup area.
Select Databases and find the database you want to recover.
Open the site's wp-config.php file and check the DB_NAME value if you are not sure which database belongs to the site.
Backup Date
Choose a backup from before the problem.
Use Choose Other Backup to select the restore point you want.
For example, if a database became corrupted or unwanted changes were made today, choose a backup from before those changes occurred.
Restore
Restore the selected database.
Choose Restore, confirm the database and backup date, then submit the restore request.
JetBackup places the job in its restore queue. Wait for it to complete before testing the website or application.
If you are restoring a database as part of a larger account recovery, make sure its required database user and privileges still exist. JetBackup can also back up database users.
Download Option
Download a copy instead when you need to inspect it first.
If you want a copy of the database without immediately replacing the live database, choose Download. You can inspect or import it manually later using phpMyAdmin.
phpMyAdmin HelpAfter Restore
Test the website or application.
Open the affected website and check the functions that depend on the database. For WordPress, check both the public site and the WordPress administration area.
If the site still fails, the issue may also involve files or a mismatch between the restored files and database dates.
