- Unpaid — payment is still required.
- Paid — the invoice has been paid.
- Cancelled — the invoice is no longer payable.
- Overdue — the due date has passed and payment is still outstanding.
Pay an Invoice
Open the unpaid invoice and make payment.
Open the invoice you want to pay and use the payment option shown on the invoice. Follow the payment gateway prompts to complete payment.
Updating a saved card does not necessarily pay an already-unpaid invoice automatically. Open the invoice and complete payment if it is still showing as unpaid.
Saved Card
Update your credit card details.
Open Edit Credit Card in the Hostmate Client Area to update the saved card used for eligible future payments.
If more than one payment method is available on your account, the default payment method is normally used for new automatic recurring payment attempts.
Automatic Payments
Keep your payment method current.
For services set to renew automatically, WHMCS can attempt payment using the applicable saved payment method when the renewal invoice becomes due.
If automatic payment cannot be attempted or fails, log in to the Client Area, open the unpaid invoice and pay it manually.
Receipt + History
Keep your invoice history in the Client Area.
Paid invoices remain available in your account so you can review previous charges and payment history later.
