Client Area
Open your domain list.
Log in to the Hostmate Client Area and choose List Domains.
Open Client AreaAuto Renew
Check whether automatic renewal is enabled.
Open the domain you want to manage and review its automatic renewal setting.
Leave Auto Renew enabled. Disabling Auto Renew means WHMCS will not automatically generate the normal renewal invoice for that domain.
Renew Early
Renew manually when the domain is eligible.
If the domain is currently eligible for early renewal, use the renewal option in the Client Area and choose the available renewal term.
Some domain extensions and registries restrict how far in advance a renewal can be submitted. If Hostmate shows that the domain is not eligible yet, wait until the renewal window opens.
Payment
Pay the renewal invoice.
Complete payment for the renewal order or renewal invoice. WHMCS normally sends the renewal request to the registrar after the required payment is received.
Check that the renewal invoice has been paid and that the domain's new expiry date is showing after processing.
After Renewal
Confirm the new expiry date.
Return to the domain in the Hostmate Client Area and check that its expiry date has moved forward after renewal processing completes.
Do Not Renew
Disable Auto Renew only if you intend to let the domain expire.
If you no longer want a domain, you can disable automatic renewal. Make sure you understand the effect before doing this, because an expired domain can stop the associated website and email from working.
